Kicking and Sweating to Raise Money
On Sunday, January 8th, over thirty women (and even a couple of men) kicked, punched, huffed and puffed to help support the Brave Will Foundation. The kickboxing fundraiser that was held at Budokai of Clifton Park was a great success as these participants worked hard for sixty minutes while helping raise money for the foundation. In the end, the event raised $500 for the foundation! This past Friday night, the 2nd Annual Brave Will Hockey game was held featuring the Burnt Hills-Ballston Spa varsity hockey team, who sponsor the event to raise awareness and funds for the Brave Will Foundation. In a hard-fought contest, the Spartans defeated Guilderland Mohonasen 4 to 3. More importantly, the team did so much more to support the Brave Will Foundation. They efforts of the players, parents, schools, and community paid off as the team was able to raise nearly $900 to support the mission of the Brave Will Foundation. Kids Helping Kids at Annual Hockey Game
The Burnt Hills Ballston Spa Varsity Hockey team is once again making a difference in a child’s life by supporting the Brave Will Foundation. On Friday, December 9th, the hockey team will hold its 2nd Annual Brave Will Game at Schenectady County Recreational Facility in Glenville at 7:30. The cost to attend the game is $4.00 for adults and children are admitted for free! The team is once again supporting the foundation by holding raffles during the game and also through a "Dump and Change" fundraiser prior to the game. Wine Tasting Happy Hour Raises Over $5,000!
If you were able to attend the 3rd Annual Wine Tasting Happy Hour last Friday, you were part of a very special event. Thanks to your support and generosity, the event raised over $5,000 to support the goals and mission of the Brave Will Foundation. The wine tasting was attended by over 180 people, which is the most we've ever had at this event. Those there were able to taste well over 50 different wines in custom Brave Will Foundation wine glasses. A Successful Day at the Links
On Saturday, August 6th, the Brave Will Foundation hosted its first Brave Will Golf Tournament at McGregor Links Country Club in Wilton. Over 55 golfers took to the course to help raise money for the foundation. Thanks to their support, the golf tournament raised over $4,000! As always, the money raised will help the foundation in its efforts to provide support for children with life threatening illnesses and their families.
